About the Program

Theater at Fuse

Live theater at Fuse is about the full experience — auditions, rehearsals, costumes, tech week, and opening night. Every production is mounted at The FuseBox, our own performance venue on site.

Cast composition depends on the show. Some productions are built around specific age groups, others bring youth, teens, and adults together on the same stage. Every performer who steps into a Fuse production gets the real thing — not a showcase, a show.

With up to 8 productions throughout the year, there are multiple opportunities to audition and perform across different seasons.

Our Venue

The FuseBox

Every Fuse production performs at The FuseBox — our own on-site performance venue. It's not a rented auditorium or a school gym. It's a real stage built for live performance.

Having our own venue means our performers rehearse and perform in the same space, technical elements are dialed in, and audiences get a genuine theater experience.

  • On-site at Fuse Performing Arts Center
  • Full stage with lighting and sound
  • All 8 annual productions performed here

Weekly Class

Stage & Drama Academy

Not ready to audition for a full production yet? SDA is where you start. It's a weekly class open to beginners who want to learn the basics of theater — acting, movement, stage presence — in a low-pressure environment.

SDA students perform in their own mini shows throughout the year, so everyone gets stage time regardless of experience level. It's also the natural on-ramp for students who want to eventually audition for a Fuse main stage production.

Weekly Classes
Regular sessions throughout the school year — see the schedule for current days and times.
Mini Performances
SDA students perform in their own shows. Everyone participates — no audition required within the class.
Beginner Friendly
No prior theater experience needed. SDA is built for first-time performers and students building confidence.
Path to Main Stage
Many of Fuse's main stage performers started in SDA. It's the foundation for everything else.

SDA is open to all ages and all experience levels. Classes run on a session basis throughout the year. Sign up through Sawyer to reserve your spot — space is limited per session.
